15.5%!

Wow! Thanks to my friend Candice and my husband's aunts Anne and Jane, I have now raised $775, 15.5% of my $5000 goal!!

Anne runs a convenience store and years ago began raising money for LLS through coin cards. At some point they stopped sending the materials she needed to collect and send in the money, so she gave me what she had collected plus a personal donation from her and Jane because it all goes to the same cause.

In other related news, I have another personal honoree. I will write more about Arlene in another post.
